Overview
Our Approach
Cornerstone Crossroads Academy takes a long-term, family-style approach to education. We are committed to providing excellent academics, workforce skills, holistic support and a positive environment. At CCA, we share the hope and abundant life of Christ with our students and provide opportunities for them to explore and grow in their faith.
Academics
CCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Successful students meet the requirements for a Texas high school diploma or equivalency using a blended learning model of online self-paced courses along with teacher-led classes. Both of our academic pathways prepare students for life after high school.
Pathway 1: GED
Our GED Pathway prepares students to complete GED testing and equips students for the workforce.
Pathway 2: High School Diploma
Our High School Diploma Pathway prepares students for college.
Vocations
The CCA Work Academy provides both students and graduates opportunities to learn the importance of work, increase personal earning potential for economic stability and develop skills to serve our community.
Vocational Preparation
Students have the opportunity to complete vocations curriculum and work a paid three-month internship to gain marketable experience and/or certifications.
Mentorship
Qualifying students are matched with mentors who help them navigate the next steps in their professional life.
Case Management
Through case management services, we go beyond the classroom and taking into consideration the emotional and physical needs of our students.
Counseling
We offer counseling services through a partnership with The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology.
Holistic Care
We support students in meeting physical needs, such as food, clothing, shelter and document procurement. We also partner with local medical, dental and vision care providers to meet our students' medical needs.
